Biography

England’s star all-rounder Sam Curran made his IPL debut for the Punjab franchise in 2019 and was an immediate success, picking up a hat-trick against Delhi Capitals in a spell that saw him take 4 wickets in 5 balls to award Punjab a sensational victory. He was part of the Chennai Super Kings’ set-up for two years before he made a return to the PBKS set-up at the IPL 2023 mini-auction. At his young age, Curran has already experienced a lot of success in T20 format, having been adjudged Player of the Tournament during England’s 2022 T20 World Cup victory.
