The spearhead of YouWeCan cancer foundation, Yuvraj Singh was felicitated at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival (DPIFF) for his contribution towards social welfare. He was awarded the ‘Most Inspiring Icon of The Year for Social Welfare’ by the DPIFF. The YouWeCan foundation helps fostering awareness about cancer and aids children who have survived the ailment towards a path of education.

Chris Gayle entertains
The Universe Boss seldom fails to entertain the crowd when he is on the field or even off it. Chris Gayle, now 38, quite predictably picked up the ‘Popular Choice Award’ at the CEAT Cricket Awards. The first man to record a hundred in the IPL this season, scored 368 runs in 11 matches for Kings XI Punjab at an appreciable average of 40.88 and a strike rate of 146.03.

The 2017-18 domestic season was a record-breaking one for Mayank Agarwal as he amassed a total of 2141 runs. The first player to score more than 2000 runs in a single domestic season across all formats, Agarwal was duly rewarded as he bagged the CEAT ‘Domestic Player of the Year’ award.
