A dressing room full of great characters!

The IPL offers amazing opportunities to young players. Playing in an international tournament against and even with the best players in the world is an incredible experience. Personally, I can say it gave me a huge boost last year to get back to playing at an international level before I made it back into the Australian team.
Having played just two games at the IPL last season, this year I am looking forward to playing more for KXIP. The team is shaping up well and the great start last year will hold us in good stead to go even better this year. Our dressing room is full of great characters and amazing players from all over the world. We have a really good bunch of people involved and it was great to become team-mates with guys that are normally fierce competitors. I am sure we’ll have the same feeling amongst the group again and have plenty of fun playing together.
The key to winning this year will be getting on a roll like we did last year as the games are close together and confidence builds quickly when you are winning. There are so many good players in the team and if our bowlers like Brett Lee are in form, there’s plenty of damage to be done in South Africa.
The biggest threats are Chennai & Rajasthan. Any team led by Shane Warne can be very dangerous but of course it would be nice to turn the tables on Chennai this year!
