KXIP News Service got a chance to chat up with our Ultimate Fan & get to know him better. Read on to find out!

1. Why are you the fan of Kings XI Punjab?

I am a big fan and love Kings XI Punjab because I am a big fan of Yuvraj Singh and any  team with Yuvraj (arguably the best T20 player in the world) is very dangerous. Till date I remember the six sixes Yuvi had hit in one over. His innate hitting ability makes him my icon. Yuvraj is one of the most exciting cricketer’s in the world today and is the symbol of youthful exuberance.

The KXIP team is full of good ODI players, who have developed into a good T20 side, it is the team with the most star names like Sangarkkara and Jayawardene who all have the class to win a game, even without going for a big shot. Yuvraj is graceful and at once punishing and can single-handedely power the team to tall scores. Who can forget his athleticism on the field, his memorable run out winning his team a match against Mumbai Indians by a solitary run?

2. What expectations  do you have as a KXIP Fan?

As a I fan I am confident that Kings XI Punjab will learn from its mistakes and will rock in IPL 2010 to bring the trophy. Hope all the key players should be present for all the matches and should have the services of Shaun Marsh. Finally this team needs to strengthen the bowling part. 

3. Who is your favourite bowler in the team?

Brett Lee is my favorite bowler in the team. He is unarguably one of the fastest bowler in the world. I think almost all the batsmen at least think once before  facing the bowling of  Lee. His rhythm makes him a bowling force to reckon with. Lee has the exuberance of youth.  He has not all just sheer pace, in fact he is maturing as an intelligent bowler of late. Lee always seemed like the boy who had everything: a glittering cricket career, a successful career, a successful fashion label, pop stardom in India and a glamorous wife and adorable two-year-old son

4. Would you encourage your kid to take up cricket?

Yes I will surely encourage my kid to take up cricket as after the begining of IPL the options have increased and India is a cricket crazy nation. And on top I love cricket.

5. Tell us something about yourself ? 

School: Cambridge School Dehradun

College: Garhwal University

Family Members: Wife is working in Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited .      Father is living retired life. Mom is household lady. Elder brother working in Italian Cruise Line.  Elder Brother’s wife teaching in a Public School . Younger brother studying. Younger sister married with Merchant Navy Officer.Not specific about favorite city hangout.

6. What are the primary values a sportsmen should always have?

Sportsmen should have following primary values.

• Sober in nature.
• Powerful in the game.
• Outlook should be liberal.
• Right judgment at right time.
• Temperament must be cool.
• Simple in attitude.
• Moderate in talke.
• All rounder in the game.
• Noble in quality.

7. Anything else you want to share with other KXIP Fans?

Im a 30 yr old and self employed. My positive attitude and passion towards life drives me. I am a work-alcoholic and nature lover. I enjoy travelling and music. Ive done my schooling from Cambridge School Dehradun and College from Garhwal University. My Wife is working in Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited . My Father is living retired life and my Mom is housewife.. My Elder brother is working in Italian Cruise Line and his wife is teaching in a Public School . My younger brother is still studying and Younger sister married with Merchant Navy Officer.
