Mohit Burman, Director Dabur India is the driving force behind the Dabur group’s foray into several high-growth and sunrise sectors of financial services like life insurance, pensions, annuities and asset management, besides agriculture and retailing.

Mohit’s personal zeal for sports has enabled him to work alongside other equally enthusiastic and dynamic promoters in putting together the formidable Kings XI Punjab team. He has, since then, been very passionate about promoting and encouraging the team for the Indian Premier League.

Mohit started his career with Welbeck Property Partnership London and then joined Dabur Finance Ltd. as Senior Manager playing a pivotal role in expanding the group's financial services business into Asset Management, Life Insurance and Pension by setting up Insurance Company with UK's largest insurance company, Aviva. In the recent past, Mohit had also stepped into another burgeoning industry with the acquisition of over 14% stake in Punjab Tractors Ltd. Besides being actively involved in expanding Dabur India's presence in the overseas markets, Mohit has also played a critical role in the recent acquisition of Balsara's Home and Hygiene business by Dabur India.

Karan Paul is the Chairman of Apeejay Surrendra Group and one of the co-promoters of Kings XI Punjab. Inducted into the business in 1992, Karan oversees the financial planning and strategy of the diversified industrial & services conglomerate. Upon donning the mantle of Chairmanship on July 14, 2004, Karan set the Group's roadmap to 2010, the year when Apeejay turns a 100 years old. An alumnus from the Brown University, US, Karan's vision is to make The Apeejay Surrendra Group, India's largest and the most profitable privately owned family business. Karan is a sports enthusiast and his role is to actively promote KXIP at the Indian Premier League along with his Tther partners.
