Kings XI Punjab
The Kings XI Punjab team was built on a few promises. One such promise was to play fair, hard and entertaining cricket on the ground that represented the fervor and flavor of being Punjabi. The other was to build opportunities to scout and nurture young cricketing talent from the North Indian region, in and around the Punjab.
To realize the latter, the Kings XI Punjab franchise undertook innovative ventures to scour the North Indian cricketing scene and identify budding cricketers in the making. The idea was to give young talent a chance to learn, polish and evolve into superior cricketers and sportsmen, by rubbing shoulders with professionals, international stars and other experts.
